Big brother to the X 1/9. Complete with 2 litre twincam. Finished in red and the first complete body build by Pininfarina. Looks comprised by the grey plastic mouldings (in my opinion) but another first in that they incorporated the bumpers as integrated body panels.
S1 cars had a reputation among the motoring writers for locking up the front brakes,due to mid engine configuration. I don’t find brakes necessary as they corner like a go kart, and much faster than any of there competition at the time.
