This car was imported new privately from England to compete in the 1973 Heatway Rally. It finished 2nd it its class, which was a good result for a private entry. Finishing the Heatway was a significant achievement. The 73 Heatway was the last NZ Rally competed over both islands. I purchased this car in the early 1990’s and it is still in the condition as I purchased it.
