Not really sure how this car ended up in an italian car collection but fortunately for me it did. Again its origins for me go back to my childhood when an old lady, a street over from us, had a 2002 in Gulf Yellow parked in front of her garage most days. As a kid I can remember standing staring at this wonderful yellow machine for what seemed like hours. I loved the way the bonnet and boot lines finished almost seamlessly. And the cutback sharks nose probably helps account for the low drag coefficient this 3 box shape yields.

So when a Bright gulf yellow 2002tii was for sale back in 1994ish I could not resist it. And then I got to drive it. It will sit on a indicated 110 mph all day and handles well through the corners. For a medium sized car it drives like its a larger Mercedes, and provides a point of difference to my fiats.
